Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

MYP Sports

Content

MYP Sports Offered:

  • Fall:  Volleyball and Cross Country
  • Winter:  Basketball, Cheerleading, and Soccer
  • Spring: Track & Field and Flag Football

Tryouts for each sport will be posted at school and through the weekly school newsletter 2-3 weeks before the date of the tryout. 

Requirements to Participate:

- Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher.

- Pay Participation Fee = $50

- Completed Middle School Participation Form

- Updated Physical Evaluation Form less than a year old; completed by a physician

- School Sports Insurance (purchase online at this link, choose the $4 or $7, AT SCHOOL option) 

 

Please return the participation form and physical form to the front office or team coach.

When the sport insurance is purchased, it will be automatically updated in the school insurance database.

- Uniforms: School will provide 

- Transportation: Parents are responsible for getting students to and from sporting events
